Guess HE must be calling me to lend a hand - I went for my first meeting with the pastorial care for the sick and elderly at my church on 11 July 2008 and then went around to visit the homes. Upon returning home, I pondered the prayers and visitation that we made and realised that I actually enjoyed what we did - and so continued to do my part in the pastorial care group.
Having seen the touching display of some of the people we visited, I realised that when one is sick and/or lonely - even a few moments spent with them can brighten their day. Yes! I'm glad I could spend this little time with them ...
