To Mummy With Love ...

Yesterday after my doctor's appointment - went to my mum's home to fix a spotlight for her alter and changed her bathroom light fittings too. All this was done without her knowing that I was there with my husband (he's the one doing alll the changing). Boy! was she surprised upon her return from high tea. She had said that the lights were not working especially the bathrooms'. Everyday just before dusk she will automatically put the switch on for it takes a couple of hours before it will come on and since last Sunday it had not been working at all!! So - when she threw the switch on and found the room lighted up, she thought it must be her lucky day until she looked up and saw new light fittings!! Calling my home she also discovered that we had put in a new spotlight for her alter which is near the main door. She was over-joyed and very grateful for even though we seldom visited her while my other sibblings and their spouses were regularly there, none had rectiifed them for her. "Mummy, I have not much to give you, but just call us and we will be there for you always - Happy 73rd Birthday mum and may you have many more birthdays to come. We love you!"
